jtotheizzoe: A Self-Portrait of Opportunity I want you to stop and think about something. This is a picture of another planet. Where this robot is. Right now. As we sit here on Earth in this or any moment, we each have in our heads a flurry of worries and questions and ideas. And most of them pertain to our own lives. That’s okay, it’s human nature. We are each the center of our own universe. I often think about this in crowded places, like while in traffic, as the place I’m going is far more important than the place all of these other people are going. I’m convinced that they feel the same way. And so we sit. But that means that there are seven billion mental universes walking around on this planet. We are staring into them through little digital windows that we carry in our hands, and certain that this decision is the most important decision. Everything that is happening is happening to us. Yet for the past eight years, there has been a dusty, six-wheeled rover crawling around the surface of Mars, completely alone. Incidentally, that rover has exceeded its expected mission of 90 days by thirty-two times over. That’s admirable, and I can’t help but personify the little guy. Like a sort of scrappy, diligent explorer, quietly working hard for the benefit of someone else. “No complaints, boss!” Like Johnny 5 meets Wall-E. And so we get images like this, reminding us that every day we can look beyond our personal universe. What a thought! Look at how much is out there. Think of what else we could see! Let’s go.

It’s been four months since Dal★Shabet‘s promotions for “Hit U“, and now the group is reported to be making a comeback next month with their first full-length album. Happy Face Entertainment stated on May 22nd that Dal★Shabet will hold a showcase in celebration of the album’s release on June 5th at Seoul’s CGV Cinecity’s M Cube. A representative from the agency stated, “We’ve prepared the showcase in secret with their comeback in sight. Rather than a deluxe showcase, we plan to make it full of content.” The upcoming album is reported to have a total of 13 tracks, including 4 previous hits, 1 intro track, and 8 brand new songs. Its title track was produced by E-Tribe, and will feature a brighter side of Dal★Shabet. The label representative described, “It’s a song that has a melody that’s bright and fun to fit in with summer. It’s definitely noticeable that it has a different appeal than the sexy concept of ‘Hit U’.” Dal★Shabet’s first full-length album will be released on June 7th.

[fan account] kai & chanyeol's trashcan dilemma at disneyland. -

after going on a few of the rides, some of the boys decided to head over to “taste’s pilot grill” to grab something to eat. nothing of interest happened at first since they were mostly just eating and talking among themselves, the little predicament came when kai and chanyeol finished eating and headed over to throw the trash out. they stood like, literally, by the trashcan that was right in front of our table, they stood there for a good 5 minutes contemplating what the fuck to do with the tray and the empty basket, they even went as far as going over to a staff member to try to get some help, but they ended up returning by themselves. so there they were, kai, chanyeol, a tray with trash, and a trashcan. they started murmuring among themselves and then chanyeol (who talks like really fucking loudly, just fyi) said something and then they proceeded to shove the entire fucking tray into the trashcan. like, literally, everything. so then obviously, we started laughing because oh my god they just threw out their goddamn tray and then they looked over at us and kai had like an expression that was obviously like “what, was that wrong?? what did we do fiogjifg” and then he started laughing with us cause he was like, legit embarrassed. nonetheless, they left the tray inside the trashcan and walked away like nothing had happened. a waiter from the the restaurant had to come over to take the tray and the basket out. 

I love them.
